DISNEY DAY 4- MAGIC KINGDOM & EPCOT

Had enough Disney yet?
The crowd calendar said Tuesday would be the slowest day, so we left the hotel a little later than usual.  It was the slowest, but it was also the COLDEST.  We didn't get any rain while at Disney, but we did get one really cold morning.  It was around 35 degrees when we arrived at the park a little after 9 AM.  We headed straight to Tomorrowland!
We rode Buzz Light Year first and were very disappointed.  We almost wasted a FP on this ride & I'm so glad we were able to change it at the last minute!  It's a total dud compared to Toy Story at Hollywood Studios.  After Buzz, we rode Astro Orbiter.  The Thompson's gave us quite a laugh trying to squeeze into their spaceship.  I think when they said 3 earthlings can ride, they meant 3 kids, haha!
We had plenty of time before our FP for Space Mountain, so we rode the PeopleMover, Carousel of Progress, and watched Monsters Inc Laugh Floor.  We loved all of those attractions!  I loved loved loved Carousel of Progress, but I'm kind of a history nerd.  Monsters Inc Laugh Floor didn't get very good reviews, but we thought it was cute and funnier than Turtle Talk with Crush.

Space Mountain was not my favorite.  It wasn't near as smooth as Expedition Everest and has a lot of drops that gave me a little motion sickness.  It was Jay's favorite ride though!  It's definitely worth riding and getting a FP for.
We traded our Buzz FP for a visit with Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty at Princess Fairytale Hall.  It was nice to see characters who actually talk!  Buddy loved it, dude was quite confused.  Please look at his face in these pictures.  It's priceless!

It was around noon, so we went to eat taco salads at Peco's Bill.  It was nice to not eat pizza or a hamburger for quick service!  Around this time dude started to act like a jerk.  I think it was Disney overload and lack of sleep, but either way he was having a rough time.  He didn't want to ride in his stroller and the littlest things set him off. Grrr
Sometimes you have to pick your battles.

We stuck it out and rode Pirates of the Caribbean with our FP and all enjoyed it!
After Pirates, dude fell asleep in the stroller, so we decided to catch the monorail to Epcot and tour the worlds.  Rudy and I were kind of in a crappy mood, but a margarita from Mexico helped calm my nerves:)  I'm so glad we went to Epcot and not back to the hotel.  We LOVED touring the World Showcase.  Our feet didn't love it, but we sure did!
Here's Dude in Germany.  I can't wait to send this picture to his great grandmother, Marlise, who lives in Germany!
Jay enjoyed an ale in Germany.
The Italy showcase was beautiful.
Jay and Sarah enjoying an afternoon snack.
And dude feeding dem birds and yodeling on Jay's head.

We rode Spaceship Earth again, because Rudy missed it the first time we rode it!
Since the wait was less than 10 minutes, we visited Epcot Character Spot again.  I don't know if we just caught it right, but we had no wait and plenty of time with each character again!  Definitely do this if you go to Epcot and the wait isn't long.

The Thompson's went to ride Living with the Land, while we stayed outside of the Epcot Character Spot and took a break.
Dude talked to this sweet woman for about 15 minutes.  She came over to tell us how precious he was and it turns out she was from MS!  It's a small world after all.
If there were a game called "Who can get the most germs on them"  Dude would win for sure!
After our break, we caught the monorail to the Grand Floridian Resort.  It was absolutely beautiful and dinner was delicious at The Grand Floridian Cafe.
Dude was in a much better mood after his nap and I'm so glad the day ended on a more positive note. All is well that ends well.
FYI:  Touring Plans predicted overall crowd levels to be 4 out of 10 on this day.  Here is a picture of our FP with times just in case you are planning a trip, they may help!
Obviously we never made it to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.  Only one more day to blog, whew!
