Growing Babies 9 and 33 Months!!!

The babies are growing at a rapid pace, it seems.  It's almost as if they're not babies anymore:(  Dude walks around talking ninety-to-nothing & Annie's in full blown exploring mode. They're still needy as hell, but they are so stinkin' cute, you just can't help but love them!

  • My sweet noon still smiles all the time:)
  • I swear sugar drips right off her chin.  Well, maybe it's just drool:)
  • She's eating table food now & drinking Similac!  She will eat anything you put in front of her- salmon, brussel sprouts, asparagus, eggplant, mushroom, etc.  The only food she's not crazy about is peaches, go figure.
  • I love to dress her up for church.
  • She finally has 2 bottom teeth!
  • We went on vacation for a few days (blog coming soon) & her sleep schedule is all off now.  Not to mention, she's got a summer cold & runny nose.  She normally sleeps all night and takes a 2 hour nap mid-day & short nap late afternoon.
  • She loves to be held and loved on.  Dude wasn't into cuddling too much at this age, but she wouldn't mind being held all day long!
  • She's got a few friends:)
  • But brother is her best friend.
  • She gives kisses now and will sometimes wave bye bye.
  • Still only consistently says da da.
  • She's strong!  I've seen her and brother play tug of war over a sippy cup of milk and she almost won.
  • She keeps my floors clean.  I swear, she eats a bug a day.  I know that's so bad, but she's like a human vacuum cleaner, I literally have to vacuum every day!  If I don't pick up every little thing, she will.
  • She takes baths with her brother now.

  • Papaw is the only one who can rock her to sleep.
  • Maybe it's because he feeds her popsicles.

  • Look at that little sweat bead on her brow.  I die.
  • Annie Noon, you are perfection!

  • Dude is a mess these days!
  • He has the best personality and biggest imagination.
  • He came up to me the other day and said "you be Pete and I Donald Duck."  Today, he had my strainer turned upside down and told me to watch out for the ant bed, haha.  I love to see his imagination take off.
  • We went on a movie date the other day.
  • Followed by a trip to the park.
  • He still wears mostly 2T clothes and size 8 shoes.
  • His sister is starting to look more and more like him.  Here's a comparison shot.
  • Speaking of sister, he loves her.  They are partners in crime!
  • I hear "put Annie down please" and "where Annie go?" all day long.
  • He likes to make her laugh in her car seat.
  • He LOVES to swim.  It's his favorite thing to do and he's getting pretty good at it.  He loves to "go under" and will not wear his "swim costume" aka floaties.
  • I see a light at the end of the tunnel in potty training, but I don't wanna jinx it!
  • He's still a very picky eater.
  • He still has the sweetest prayers.
  • He loves for you to "tickle back"

  • We have a Disney trip planned in January & I can't wait to see the excitement on his face!
  • He is a daddy's boy.
  • Dude, you are my favorite little boy in the whole wide world.  Momma loves you!
