My Best Friend's Wedding Reception

One of my best friends in this world is Casey.
We go all the way back to the 6th grade & I love her and her family as if they were my own!  In fact, Casey's mom has introduced me as her adopted daughter for as long as I can remember.  We were inseparable and spent the night with each other 32 nights in a row one summer.  We counted.  We have more inside jokes & act way sillier than we should, but I wouldn't trade our friendship for anything in this world.  I will always love her and now I love her husband and son, too.  I truly feel blessed to have her as a friend.
Enough mush, moving onto the party!!  The reception was absolutely perfect.  The weather, the decor, the people, the band, the list just goes on and on!  It was very classy & rustic.  I was the designated driver for my parents, who danced harder than anyone half their age:)  We danced the night away & released lanterns at the end to wish Casey & John a happy life together.  The lanterns were really stinking cool.

Rabbit,

I love you with all of my heart. Thank you for celebrating this new journey with me. It wouldn't have been the same without you, Con, and Jim! You have all played a huge part in the story of my life. If it wasn't for all of the "pull my fingers" from Jim, I wouldn't be the person I am today. If I'd never chanted, "grab your chipmonk and go go go", I wouldn't be the cool person I am today! haha If I had never met you in 6th grade, I would feel an emptiness in my soul. I am so excited about having an amazing husband and little boy! I am so lucky. I want you to know that I look up to you. I envy your grace, attitude, parenting/wife skills, and your overal perspective on life. You are my heart.

P.S. Oochie-MOO

Love always,

Duckie aka Casey Gaines
