I figured it was time for a more positive blog post:) Thank you to all my friends who read my last post and gave me encouragement. I'm happy to report that all is much better now!
Our local zoo really isn't all that great, but it offers fresh air & a scenic train ride and you all know how much my sweetness loves a train. So, my mom, dad, the kids, and myself loaded up and headed out. I'm kind of embarrassed to tell y'all how long it took us to actually get out the door! Whew, getting yourself and 2 children ready is time consuming to say the least.
We decided to ride the train first since dude talked about it the whole way there! However, when we pulled in he acted in pure dude fashion- cried, rode the train in silence, and smiled when we got off & then talked about it constantly. Those toddler emotions, I tell ya! I think he gets stimulation overload & doesn't know how to act.
Just look at my stroller aka bus...
At least dude helps by steering:)
The giraffe scared Con & Jimbo got a good laugh out of it. I swear I love these two. When Rudy is gone, I would rather hang out with my parents than anyone else. I hope Annie & Dude will enjoy us like I enjoy my parents!
I got tickled at Jimbo & the footsie wootsie.
Here he is thinking "Hmmm footsie wootsie, a foot massage sounds good."
He quickly deposits 25 cents, plops down, and what do ya know it doesn't work. Imagine that! There are a total of 10 animals at the zoo and you think the footsie wootsie is gonna work. Not.
Love my dude & his expressions!
Dude had a nice little conversation with this rhino..
We enjoyed the zoo and beautiful weather!
As always, thanks for reading!
