Happy Birthday to Dude

It happened.
Your very first birthday happened.  You are no longer considered a baby, but rather a toddler.  Personally, I refuse to refer to you as a toddler because your main mode of transportation is still crawling, therefore you are still a baby.  Ok, let's just face it- you will always be my "baby."   Anyway, you had a precious first birthday party, surrounded by special people that love you.

First off, just look at my kitchen on the day of the party. Rudy was ready to kill me when he saw this mess, but he forgave me because that's what God wants us to do.  (notice my footprints in the powdered sugar)

The Menu Included:
  • Pulled Pork Sliders
  • Hotdogs
  • Baked Beans
  • June's Renowned Potato Salad
  • Chips
  • Petit fours (78 to be exact), Cookies, & Cupcakes
Here are pictures of the food/decorations...

Bubbles & Coffee cups to decorate for the kiddies..
Here is my little dude enjoying his cake, presents, and guests.

Dude was loving the presents and his new bear!
But wasn't so sure about this whole opening the presents thing..

Watch out dude, Jacob is flirting with your gf...

This picture really makes me laugh

 Uncle love
Cary, just because dude practically leaped into your arms doesn't mean you should let him chew on his gun.. haha
 Cousin Sam..
Aunt Casey lovin on dude.  Thanks Uncle Cully for the MSU jersey!

Buddy had fun at the party..

 Beautiful and very talented "Mother"

The family that dresses together stays together.

We also had a nautical themed backdrop for pictures with a paddle for people to hold that said, "happy birthday hagan."  Ok, so maybe I went a little overboard here. No pun intented, of course.  But, I wanted dude to know who all came to his party!
I didn't get a picture of everyone who came, but here are a few..
Kelley, my best friend, drove down 3 hours to help out and attend dude's party.  Love you!

Aren't they all so beautiful??  LOVE my family & friends!!
All in all the party was a success.  I love my little sailor and look forward to the next one.  Wait, I retract that, won't you stay this small forever?
Love you Dude.

I can't believe he is already 1! He is so adorable! I love all of the pictures! I did a nautical theme for Parker's nursery and was thinking of doing a nautical theme for his 1st birthday too so I'm loving all your ideas! May have to steal a couple. ;)
