Purchase of Land

Rudy and I both grew up in the country spending our summers racing go-carts, playing in fields, and eating dirt.  Nevermind, Rudy just told me he never ate dirt.  So it was just me. I explained to him that I made mud pies as a child & he rolled his eyes, smiled, and walked off.  Anyway, all that is beside the point. Our dream is to have plenty of land for our offspring to roam and by God's grace we found it.
Do you see the potential?  The land is 9 acres total.  Plenty room for little people to run around, chickens to lay eggs, one cow to eat grass, and grow a small garden..
Our plan is to pay off the land and eventually build a house right in front of the tree line.  We have been house plan searching maniacs lately & have come up with a few we like.  Make sure to FOLLOW (click on the right) to keep up with our land progress and see the house plans we found!
One of the best features is that the property backs up to a lake.  Dude and all his cool friends can go fishing some day..  Some day WAY in the future!
Here is the drive into the subdivision..
Our plan is to take it one step at a time.  First on the list is mowing this little beauty.  I'm so ready to be in the country again.  I would love nothing more than to put a trailer on that bad boy, but covenants won't allow so I guess we'll just have to wait.  I had a very humble upbringing & feel so incredibly blessed by the Good Lord.  He never ceases to amaze me.
Peace out Peeps.
